Yes! We'd recommend buying wedding insurance as soon as you have a date and/or venue confirmed and you start to pay those first deposits. The Excess is the amount you are responsible for paying in the event of a claim. This is deducted from the amount you are claiming for. An excess is applicable to most sections of the policy - • Section 3: Personal Liability for the Marrying Couple £250 • Section 9: Overseas Essential Documents £0 • Section 12: Optional Marquee Hire £100 • Section 13: Optional Public Liability for the Guests £250 • All other sections £50

If you have made a claim or there has been an incident likely to result in a claim, no refund of premium will be payable. After the initial 14-day cooling off period, you may cancel the insurance policy at any time by informing us. However, please note that no refund of premium will be payable for any remaining coverage period.
